    Good read -

So pretty good read. The 213 percent stronger figure for a PR44 over the stock D44... wow!!! My take away is go PR44 if you run 35s (even though they say this depends on how you'll use it)...

    Dana 44 question

So that would mean that it's a locker as well. You can wire that locker using the below diagrams. The plug labeled '1' is the locker plug (switch on my scribble). Plug '2' is the indicator (actuator on my scribble).

Like others have said, I sold my Hi-Lift and carry a bottle jack. I also carry this adapter I made from 4" channel and 1 1/4 DOM. You can purchase these from vendors I think. I went to the local steel retailer in my town and purchased U.S. steel in what's called drop pieces ( left over...

    Painting the roll cage

Well, I can't find the photos I took just after. I'll take some more if there's interest. This shows the color I used on the sport cage as well as the rear bar being welded in. EDIT - I haven't had problems with scratches so far. I'm thinking that's a result of the automotive type paint...

    EVO Bolt-On CO questions

So rather than move to a new set of coils now and then to coil overs later this year I will run my 2.5" until August then purchase the front EVO bolt on coil overs and a set of plush coils foe the rear. Eventually end with coil overs in the rear also. Rather than call EVO and be a 'tire...

    SMORR June 13th-14th

Some pictures of some of the trails at SMORR. Some of the trails are tight and require 4DRs to back up to make the turn: A photo of Larry's Hill (level-4/5) from the bottom. That first ledge comes to between knee and waist height on a fella. I don't remember what trail this is other than...

ABS light (and only ABS light) is on... ??

So I finally go around to installing my extended brake lines (front and back). I followed the WAL brake line install and bleeding write-ups. Unfortunately I had to leave the house (my son's truck broke down and I had to go recover it) for about 4 hours after replacing the lines but before...

Factory JK D44 Rubicon E-Locker Wiring

Yep, that's pretty much it. Obviously you should run with at least a fuse. I have mine wired with a relay through my own fuse/relay panel. I use a OTRATTW switch with the upper light indicating that I've activated the locker and the lower (bar) light indicating that locker engaged. Number...

3.8L Stroker article in FourWheeler Magazine

I didn't see this posted anywhere yet... some of you may be interested in it. They stroke a 3.8L to 4.1L and improve on some of the internal parts. No dyno results... they say it should run 170-200 rwhp. They also say it's getting 2mpg better than before. I'm not convinced that the squeeze...
