P0300 is the code # for Random/multiple misfires and can be caused by metric shit ton of possibilities. Check your- check for other P300 codes, i.e. P0303 would indicate a miss on cyl #3 spark plugs coils elec connections at coils cam shafts cam shaft timing adjusters cam timing compression...

I have one. It was a gift from my Dad to use when I did the TAT. It's like every other Garmin I have or had, it works every time. As said above it's a bit big and bulky but I like it for the large screen. So far it's only been mounted in my Tacoma so I can't speak for how it fits in the JLUR...

There isn't really a recommendation for Tofu. I'd guess it depends on how long the garbage can had been out in the sun.......
