My neighbor just purchased a 1999 TJ with the 2.4 liter 4 banger, and is looking to lift it and get wheels and tires. He's looking at a 4" Pro Comp lift and would like to run 35's. The question is, are 35's to big for that motor and if not, what gear ratio should he be running? Any advise would...

I'm running 35's with a 3" lift with no problems.

So my friend just purchased a 1987 YJ with a 4" lift and was looking to upgrade the wheels and tires. He would like to run 35x12.5x15 but has heard that they won't fit. Anyone out there have experience with this and know what he would need to do to run 35's?
