New power steering pump installed, they took it for a drive first thing in the morning, and again later in the day, both the shop foreman and the manager drove it. But as luck would have it its unseasonably warm out now. So going to have to wait until the temperature drops to test it again...

My 2022 has been doing it since new last year my jeep also is stored in a insulated garage, it's also happened a couple minutes from home or a hour or two after.

Small update, Going on a week since my visit to the dealer , they ordered a new power steering pump/motor assembly. they said it was a couple weeks out. Crossing my fingers it fixes the problem and that I dont end up with the problem coming back next winter.

They want to leave the jeep outside in their lot for 2 weeks in the snow etc, which I am not impressed with. And give me a loaner but charge me so I can get even a reasonable deductible on the loaner. Maybe if they had dealt with this last year I wouldn't be in this situation.

So now they are saying its the power steering pump that's failed according to Chrysler engineering and that its 2 weeks away. Meanwhile my jeep will sit in a open lot through the coldest part of the winter , but then tells me I shouldn't be driving it but I have been driving it like this for...

My gladiator has been at the dealership since Monday they still can't reproduce the problem or find anything, said they are waiting on jeep to contact them. Redicilous I've been having this problem since new. II even sent them this forum thread to review.

I haven't done that being that it's done it since new I didn't want to mess with it until the dealer is able to do some sort of troubleshooting.
