Do it while it’s brand new and clean still. I figured what the heck. Even if it didn’t work I would only be out 200 bucks. I didn’t have high expectations going into it and time will tell but so far so good.

Little update on the windshield defense. It’s been a few weeks and about a thousand miles. Here’s my take. First. I would and will do this again. I had a rock fly up and strike the windshield that I thought FOR SURE was going to end up as a crack. It hasn’t and from what I can tell and feel it...

Been there done that. You’ll want to replace both batteries. Mine went out at 20ish thousand miles.
