Not a CJ7 update but did get a gladiator yesterday 🎉

Once a year post coming in hot 😂 Getting the engine ready to remove so much room for activities! the engine harness is annoyingly butchered looks like I’ll be making another harness or see if I can find one on eBay, having the 4 cyl makes it harder to find the harness 🤔

Been having some issues with my daily so the Jeep has been put aside for a while But today the engine gasket kit came in! 🙌🏽

My brother came by this morning and finally got the engine on the stand 😅 Now getting a list together of everything I need to replace that I can see on the engine

Got me an engine stand to start tearing into the “new” engine 🤘🏽

Oh ok wish they would have kept 30 year rule lol

It’s always been 75 cause in 1976 is when the 3 way catalytic converter was put on all cars from what I was told lol

Unfortunately I live in California I wish I could just swap in an LS lol

Found a replacement engine for the stock one, was it told it ran when it was pulled for a swap probably going to change all the gaskets and pumps rebuild the carb and swap it in 🤔

Thanks everyone! I did want to do a v8 swap on it but I live in California and getting this thing smogged with a swap would suck lol for now I’m just going to do a stock replacement engine since this one got sand in it when it last ran 😂 I also am going to go through the whole brakes system try...
