35 or 37s on stock wheels

OK. The guy I got these from had a 2 in lift on a 2018 JLU and said the didn't rub, but he said he didn't push the flexing.

35 or 37s on stock wheels

Before and after... 1.5 inches higher at the fender. 34 psi on the 33s, 30psi on the 37s only 6/32nd on the 37x12.5 R17 BFG KO2s

35 or 37s on stock wheels

With the stock wheels, should I get the 1.75 inch spacers? Discount Tire suggested them. I also found a set of 5 2019 wheels with tpms and 6/32 tread 37" BFG KO2s. Good enough to try, and I can jeep my OEM setup if I need to make other changes.

35 or 37s on stock wheels

So doing more research... 7.5 inch wide rims can be used with the Nitto Ridge Grappler and BFG Mud Terrain KM3 37x12.5 R17 tires. So keep the stock wheels. Or will wheel spacers be needed? My bank account hates this site...:D

35 or 37s on stock wheels

That's the plan to re-gear. It just doubles the cost of tires to do both now. The difference between 35 and 37 is a lot more digestible.

35 or 37s on stock wheels

Man, should I just bite the bullet and skip 35s and get 37s? New wheels plus 37. I have 2.5 inch full lift. Steelie wheels. How bad would it be with the stock gearing for the summer with 37s? Not daily driven.

    Backup sensor chimes

So unfortunately, the Jeep came with the backup sensors. Even with the stock bumper, they chimed everything I was in reverse. You can only turn down the volume. Is there a way to disable these? Would simply unplugging them trigger an error light and constant chime?

35 or 37s on stock wheels

35 x 12.5 R17 need an 8 inch wide wheel, but I'm seeing these on the stock Rubicon 17x7.5 wheels on FB marketplace. Not sure if they were on off roaders or road posers. What do the experts say here? Pick up set or not for off roading until I research and go 37s. Thanks. 2025 JLU Rubicon...

    OLM mirror lense replacements

It's a lot more limited compared the my daily with the convex mirrors, and the old Xterra. I found myself constantly adjusting the mirrors off-road in the last trip. Rock fields and navigating close trees that were scared with many body panels hits.

    OLM mirror lense replacements

So the mirrors in the JLU have poor field of view. I was looking at adding the convex round mirrors to see better. But I remembered this brand that I installed on the WRX...

And I borrowed an angle finder from work. The caster is at 0 degrees. But it steers straight and returns to center.

EVO Enforcer 2.5" lift questions on JL

After 3 moderate to hard trails around Idaho Springs, CO, it wheels close to the Xterra, but better, even with smaller tires. The automatic transmission is so much more controllable over rocks. After the 1st trip, I installed the tazer mini. I was getting a bit annoyed with how long the...

Anyone installed the EVO Overland Control Arm Brackets?

In the 1st picture, is the driver's side with the UCA mounted with the spacer and the LCA with only the bolt. I tried clamping it and the holes would not align by about 1/4". I would need to trim the LCA spacer by about 3/8". I needed washers, so I headed to ACE, while there found shorter...

Anyone installed the EVO Overland Control Arm Brackets?

I did not try to install again, but from the scratches, it looks like the LCA inner frame mount is hitting the brackets weld. The weld thickness looks about the same as the lower hole misalignment. Pondering if I should grind the weld down or the frame. The weld would be easier in a vise, vs...
