    Trail Hero

Well, at least my wife takes care of me after watching. Your wife leaves you with her bull.

    Trail Hero

What an asshole move. We are blessed to live so close to Moab and Sand Hollow that we do get to play there whenever we want. Paying to play in these events helps us all, because of the good these organizations do for the off-road community. Showing up, and playing, without paying is a total...

    Wii/Playstation/XBox...what should I buy?

I used to play Atari. But, then went off to college and became a grown ass man.

    Light bars

I've been stuck on Golden Spike and Cliffhanger at night, because a member of our group broke something. Getting out, the only Jeep that was able to use any of his lights was the leader. If anyone else turned on their light bars, it just blinded everyone in front. Those of us that could, turned...

    Tailgate wouldn't open- problem solved

I was able to look at a new module. This made it so I could see what wasn't functioning on mine. From there I was able to get a screw driver into the correct position to lift the lever that was broken. Unfortunately, I don't have access to that module, and threw away my old one, without taking...

I purchased a set of Apex at EJS. Finally got them installed. They are incredibly fast and easy to use.

    Tailgate wouldn't open- problem solved

My tailgate won't open. This is the only thread I can find, and the pic attachment won't open. I can the mechanism from the door knob is attached and working. From the access panel I can see and hear the unit unlock. But pressing the knob, nothing happens. I don't even know how to get the...

    38X12.50R17 NITTO Ridge Grapplers

I understand that. Like I said, I'm not needing new tires anytime soon. Hopefully the RG will be available in 13.50 when I'm ready. I also hate that Goodyear owns Cooper now, and that they've decided to insert themselves into a political situation.

    38X12.50R17 NITTO Ridge Grapplers

This is my personal preference: Anything taller than 35" just looks better, to me, in a 13.50. Luckily I'm not needing new tires anytime soon. I purchased my Coopers , in part, because of Eddie's reviews of them. And I love them! So, even if Eddie gives these a glowing review, I couldn't see...

    Big Bear

Thanks for the responses. We had a great time. My son smashed his stock steering stabilizer, and I tore the boot on our stock rear drive line. Nothing serious. Was also surprised with how little traffic we ran into on the trails. Town however, was packed with people.

    Best roll cage?

I've only witnessed a Jeep roll on the freeway. A truck came through the median and went head on into another truck. The lady driving the Jeep swerved to miss the trucks but clipped the rear, which sent her rolling into the ditch. She rolled several times and ended upside down. Her and her...

    Big Bear

We're heading to Big Bear for the 4th of July. Our only experience wheeling is Moab and Sand Hollow. We're thinking of doing Holcomb Creek, Gold Mountain, and John Bull. I'm seeing ratings like "Black Diamond" and it's making me nervous, because of my skiing experiences. In Moab we've done...

Anyone running a Holley air intake/air box?

I just grabbed these photos. The airbox fits perfectly in its stock location in the 3 post holes. The key was notching the back of the headlight housing to make room for the wiring harness, then ditching the PSC angled fitting for one that sends the supply line out and around the air box.

Anyone running a Holley air intake/air box?

First, I had to trim a trough in the headlight housing to fit the wiring harness into, to get the PSC reservoir to fit all the way forward. Second, no matter how you clock it, the psc fitting for the supply line to pump, will not work. Either it puts it into the air box, or puts the line going...

2013 JK Sport upgraded front axle

Contact Carbon, they built their version of Trail leader for me. Granted, the front axle isn't the exact size of the pro rock, and there was a promotion from ARB, so I got the compressor for free, but the entire package was about $1200 less than Dynatrac.

    Thoughts on Pros/Cons Dynatrac & Carbon & ?? 44/60 for JKU

My Carbon axle has the Currie name and logo on it. I'm happy with the axle. I went with them because they were local. They let me walk through their shop, and showed me around. Customer service is incredible. Also, I did break a shaft. They responded immediately, and Fedexed a replacement. My...

    But motorized vehicles are bad!

Moab city officials aren't exactly quite about their desire to get rid of all motorized vehicles enjoying the area. They only want the mountain bikers and climbers. And now this: https://www.ksl.com/article/50148226/climbing-bolts-found-on-1000-year-old-petroglyphs-in-utah
