Bad Neighbors! Everybody's got one...or two.

No, this isn't Superbowl Sunday, or even a party. This was an everyday occurrence. The TJ and gold BMW are mine. The rest of the cars in the picture are all for the neighbor whose house is not in the picture. Blocking all driveways and in/out access to this little one block dead end street we...

    Do I need a sway bar ?

I've owned two different XJ's. The first I got rid of the sway bars completely. The second I kept the front sway bar and made my own disconnects for it. Removing the rear sway bar made almost no difference at all in on-road handling but did allow a bit more articulation in the rear. Not much...

SPOTTED: Any 4X4 other than a Jeep JK/JL Wrangler

Saw this treasure while visiting my hometown this weekend. The owner looked to be in is 80's. One thing I missed taking a pic of was the original PTO winch on the front. Absolutely gorgeous rig.

SPOTTED: Any 4X4 other than a Jeep JK/JL Wrangler

Not really a 4x4, but off road just the same. I've always liked these little buggies. Ran across this one with a for-sale sign in Roslyn, WA. Had to stop and look. Would be a fun toy to have, but the asking price is a bit high for my taste. It may well be worth what they are asking ($3500), but...

Camp site 1/2 way between Seattle and San Francisco?

I'm driving from Seattle to SF to catch the Americas Cup finals in September. I've made the marathon drive from here to there before and just don't feel like it this time around. So I'm looking for recommendations on a good camp spot about half way between along the I-5 Corridor. I'll be...

    WIN Truck-Lite LED Headlights!!

Bought jeep with 7 miles on it. On drive home said "Man, these headlights suuuuckkk!" This pic is with the fog lights on as well :P I almost never use high beams because it's actually worse than low beams with fog lights.

    DIY fab projects

Just something simple so far. Mirror mounts for when my doors are off. Though I have to admit, I think I would have been better off to mount them on springs they shake so bad. Going to have to try something different.
