Ordered long arms, but questions about what else I need

After a fun filled weekend in Seattle and a couple of days at work I was able to start the rear coilovers. Got about 4 hours of garage time on Wed, and then about 5 on Thurs. Everything is in. Haven't had time to screw with timing rings or height. Just pretty much driving it out of the box...

Ordered long arms, but questions about what else I need

Thanks :thumb: Was able to work on it here and there the last couple of days. Weather was too nice to not be on a golf course with a beer in my hand. Buttoned everything up yesterday afternoon except for bleeding the brakes. Got up a little early this morning to get that done and attempt...

Ordered long arms, but questions about what else I need

I guess this is probably turning in to a build thread of sorts. So yeah, long arm installed. Drive's great! Did a few other things, front bumper and so on. Got Machetes delivered on Tues and mounted them Friday night (luckily I was able to do them at work so dismounting and balancing was...

I can add to this! I got them yesterday and couldn't wait to open them. Black ends, black slider, blue springs. Let me know if you want any other pics.

Ordered long arms, but questions about what else I need

So I'm getting ready to order a few things. As you may have seen in the first post I'm doing all of this because I have had the AEV lift for a while and my stock driveshafts are suffering. I knew that my boot on the rear was torn, but when I pulled the front it looked like it contacted the y...

We have had it out in as low as mid 30’s at night up in the cascades. The heater does a really good job of keeping up. As far as wind and rain, a few trips on the Olympic Peninsula, one in December We have a pretty big shop at work that is pretty open and I have a key. I’ve let it go a day...

Ordered long arms, but questions about what else I need

Checked everything at full bump and twisted it as much as I could. I’m still using the bumpstops from the AEV lift. Have plenty of room all around except if I have one side of the axle stuffed. These wheels are 4.59 backspaced and the directions recommended 4.5. Who knew .09” would make a...

Ordered long arms, but questions about what else I need

Pretty much buttoned up everything yesterday. Spent part of today goofing around with the stupid exhaust loop. Made cuts, did it wrong. Made more cuts, screwed it up worse. I have some fine tuning to do but I think I am just going to let it sit until drivelines get here. For the guys...

Ordered long arms, but questions about what else I need

So had a two day stretch without getting in the garage other than a couple of hours. Front is going way way faster than the back. I’m at work right now so don’t have a ton of pics. But I do have a question for the guys that bolted on. I noticed on the pass side there’s nothing “backing” the...

Ordered long arms, but questions about what else I need

Got home from work at about 8:30. Spent some time with the fam and did a labout an hour and a half of drilling and test fitting and now just waiting for paint to dry. I think I should be home in time to button up the back. Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app

Ordered long arms, but questions about what else I need

So I spent about another hour grinding and test fitting the drivers side rear bracket then my wife and daughter got home. Then work called and had to run in which took the rest of the afternoon. Just spent another hour cleaning up. Brackets are in place. And here’s the carnage Hopefully...

Ordered long arms, but questions about what else I need

Sent from my iPhone using WAYALIFE mobile app I was just being a girlie man. I shot bhaner a text and he said to "man up and grind it down", well, he was nicer than that. I still had a raised section from the weld on the upper control arm mount, took it down further and now fits flush. The...

Ordered long arms, but questions about what else I need

So I to cutting this morning. I got as close as I could with recip saw, then cut off wheels and finally flap discs. I’ve test fit to see how everything looks and I have a few gaps. I imagine it’ll suck down with bolts or a clamp, but before I get in to it wanted to see if everything looks right...
