There has been a decent amount of rain in this area and the ground looks saturated.

Well I arrived in Carson and was going to do the right thing and go to bed early but then these nice people lured me into temptation.

Yesterday I rolled out of Phoenix, AZ at about 0500 hrs and headed north. The temperature in PHX has been in the 80’s so shorts have been the daily wear. Once I passed through Vegas and Pahrump the weather began to change, the temperature dropped, and the rain started. It never rained hard, just a sprinkle here or there.

The mostly cloudy sky made for some great views.
