Danny Elfman had such a weird set with a full orchestra….

Interesting and I can kind of see it being that movie scores had become his thing.

Back in the day, I used to go to all the Oingo Boingo Halloween Bashs at Irvine Meadows. It was my understanding that Elfman stopped performing live because of hearing loss and not wanting to make it any worse. I would have really enjoyed seeing him out there again.
 
It was about this time of year when this song from TALK came out and was getting a lot of airplay. It was also a time when a lot was going on with Cindy's folks and especially so with her mom. Of course, Cindy's maiden name is Mars and the song just had the right sound for what was going on and how we were feeling. Needless to say, anytime we hear it now, it still brings back a lot of memories.
