A lot of seniors have been brainwashed to think Republicans want to take away their social ‘security’. Reform yes, allow you to invest a portion into a 401K, yes, however I have never heard any republican say they want to just take away the money individuals have already paid in.

SS is a pyramid scheme and a scam that needs to be reformed and eventually phased out.

The democrats along with Biden were the ones who voted to tax it as well as mix it into the general tax fund.

Years ago, our local fish wrapper of a newspaper ran a story close to the election quoting seniors that truly thought the republican presidential candidate wanted to take their SS away and they were going to have to eat dogfood. No lie. They were really terrified. Now, wouldn't a decent, rational human being, regardless of vocation or party affiliation, put down the recorder and tell the person, "Hold up granny, thats pure bullshit."
The catastrophe whores that the news media turned into are aiding & abetting the fall
