This is my 46-49 Willys CJ2A. Been looking for an old Jeep for a few years. My guess is it's a late 48/49 since it has Spicer 44 rear axle. The serial plates are both missing (firewall and frame horn) there is a dash plate but it's off an M38a1 from 8/53. It's titled as a 53. Has had some recent upgrades. I put set of tires on it so I could drive it. All new brakes, upgraded to a Saginaw steering box, and.......a Ford 200 inline 6 engine swap
All these upgrades were done by the previous owner. It runs runs, drives, and stops. My plans are replacement seat cushion/covers, new leaf springs(driver side front sags about 2 inches), replace the tailgate with a repop that came with it, and honestly just enjoy driving it.
