1st week for the 'police are failing their communities" BS rhetoric when the citizens start calling about crime
2nd week, exodus of the wealthy because they can.... politicians begin to panic that the police may mean to take a stand, possibly call in the national guard when having to provide real answers to the remaining citizens for the increase in crime
3rd week, the citizens realize they need real change and what they have is not working as the criminals become more emboldened and start committing more crimes in broad daylight
4th week, it begins to sink into the tiny brains of the "peaceful protestors" that maybe they were wrong about the police as the crime/murder rate continues to escalate
5th week, police begin negotiations on restoring their roles with real support from those that turned their backs
