According to KC support, it can damage the LEDs. That's what they tole me, claiming that's why they come with a rocker switch that ensures they aren't on at the same time. But I have to agree that they should be fine. I'll let someone else give it a run and let us know the outcome. :p

Honestly can’t remember how I found out, but the answer is YES, keep the inline fuse there because the lights want to pop at 25 amps not 40.

I did too. Then someone said it's not good, so a quick note to KC customer support confirmed it was not recommended. I'm surprised actually. I'm no electrical engineer, but what could possibly go wrong? Heheh... "What could possibly go wrong?"... Famous last words. :oops:

Yes factory aux switches. So I cut out the relay and fuses from harness. My question was if I needed to put the fuses back as they are lower amps than the factory aux switch. (25 vs 40). Thanks!

I understood that a Switch Pro or Factory Switches had all of that already in place. ¯😬
