Owners manual gives oil specs that meet MS6395 as acceptable oils. That applies to mobil1 5w20 and 5w30.
Your jeep, you decide. I am switching to 5w30 at 20k miles after it loosens up some because I buy so much oil that I want simple.
The main thing is put good oil in and change it often...
I have ran lots of Hercules tires. The local guy that I use runs them and has been since the late 80s when we were in school. I currently have a set of 35s on my f250 that are holding up well after 25k un rotated miles. They also run 89 tto 85mph and no need to turn up the radio or yell.
I have always went to larger calipers with more pistons when I used larger tires and wheels on my Harleys. Dobyou upgrade the brakes for the heavier tires?
If I go with a 2.5 stage 3, can I use the same arms and jump up to a 4.5 stage 4 by changing springs and adding the rear lower arms. I will go to 37s when I re-gear I also plan to change steering knuckles when the gears are done.
Any argument to go with 37s and wait on the gears for a while.
Want 3 to 3.5 inches, they are all about the same price for a mid arm kit with all of the arms. The only exception is the evo would be a stage 3 overland. This keeps the price at close to 3k. I will do the install with the help of some jeep people who have done several. They say metalcloak...
