Its a PITA ... I would have to buy it stateside, (drive it around so its not considered a pure import) and then ship it over. (And still get mauled by the taxman for pollution, certification and licence duties)... or ... I can import it drive it as a US vehicle (normally for 6 months max) but...

Looks like Carlos Tavares is sinking Stellantis.......and Jeep with it. Wonder whom is going to line up to buy the brand? Will it go Indian as Land Rover did? Will it go Chinese as Volvo did, or will a US hedge-fund or investment group buy it up? What's your take?
Soooo, a few later and the French have once again blown a US car company to smithereens: Jeep and C° are slowly dying (again) sacrificed on the altar of marketing, high prices, low quality, low maintenance quality, bad management descisions. What is your take on it? I'd be curious to know...
I wish Europe would follow suite and give the tree huggers the boot... might shake up Stellantis a bit who are (for now) the ultimate descision takers for JEEP...
Stellantis is gradually killing the Icon....TAvares is a butcher and not interested in Jeep at all as a worldwide product. Eventually he will kill the Wrangler as we have grown to know it.
