I'm out in Carson City but I do love it out where you are.
There seems to be a lot of great overlanding trails, not much crawling that I've seen. I remember a bunch of pics you posted a while ago of mines and stuff you guys found doing some exploring out this way somewhere. I am looking forward to warmer weather to get out and explore here!

I love the 2 door there are not enough around these days!

Welcome! I'm from Clark County but I just bought some land up there. Hoping to get up there soon and learn the area.

Howzit...do you have a fishing report for Ruby Marshes?...asking for a friend.
Haven't personally fished anywhere around here, I hear up in the mountains. There's some good high mountain lakes that you can fish and a couple better completely barren.

I used to fish Ruby Marshes couple times a year, last time was about 5 years ago, was never really worth the trip. Hatchery rainbows that taste just like powerbait smells. Occasionally you can hit a massive Rainbow 5+ pounds (the hatchery used to release brood sows in there), but same problem as far as tastes like fish food. Never saw or saw anyone else catch a Bass or Brown out there. They are stocking Tigers now, which might be cool.

With only a few exceptions, I’m catch and release on all trout…I also hear there are a few decent tigers, and 20”+ bows. I’d like to incorporate Ruby Marsh into a 7-10 day long camp/road trip up into Dutch John UT & SW Wyoming…
