Moab redemption 2020

It’s been almost a year since I was last in Moab for a multi day trip, and last year didn’t quite go as planned. This year was our annual Pritchett canyon trip. And this year, was bound to be different.

All loaded up and ready to go.

Being that we would be in town a few hours earlier than the rest of our group, myself, Clearskies and our good friend Jason with his purple XJ decided to go have some fun on the pickle.

Lining up for the first bit of fun

Here comes Don

Of course I had to give a wave also

The next morning brought some dark clouds and rain.

And... some flooding on our way up to Rusty Nail

While I didn’t have much chance to get many shots of us on Rusty nail. I did manage to get some coming down No Left Turn

The great thing about Rusty Nail was that it exists out right above the golden crack, so we got to have a bit of fun just in time for lunch

Great shots! Makes me even more anxious for our upcoming trip. Keep the pics coming.

The next day was all about the main event...
Pritchett.
Having nearly flopping the year before on Chewy Hill, I wasn’t really sure what to expect this time around especially considering all the rain we had gotten the day before. And I didn’t get as many shots as I’d have liked, but here’s what I did get. Thanks to Don for getting quite a bit of these being that he brought an actual camera.

And now on to Rocker Knocker

But he works it into position and up on top
None of the JK’s last year made it up Rocker Knocker. This year, we all completed the trail unassisted.

And now my turn

And of course, Don. Keeping his cool like a Sunday morning walk.

And we’re up and on top of yellow hill. Marking and end to an epic day. All made it without incident and best of all, completely unassisted.
