TIN CAMP - This is the Last One...

Things are greening up in the pasture and the deer keep on coming. Here are a shot of a good size group just lounging around from this morning.

And, here you can see them prancing around.

Here's a video clip of them.

And, here's one of them taking a long draw from the pond.
Actually, I think you have some elk this time!

Edit: They do look like they're smaller than an elk, but the coloring on the ass sure looks like it.

That's pretty awesome though! Were you guys aware that there was so much wildlife up there when you bought it?
Oh yeah. It's a big part of why we wanted the place. The area is a HUGE hunting destination and during season, it's not uncommon to see just about everyone in town dressed up for the occasion. The previous owners actually led hunting trips and used this property as a base camp. We figured if nothing else, we could fix up the place and make it into an ABB.

That's awesome. Still on the original solar panel? No issues?
Yes! And I should note, the app shows that it's always at 100%. Granted, I do have it sitting up high on a pole and facing south and without any obstructions from the sun so it gets a good charge each day.

How hard is it to get a non-resident hunting tag in Nevada? Asking for a friend!
There isn't anything really special for non-residents but Nevada does have a lottery system that every hunter has to apply for. More details about it can be found here:

Okay, just uploaded some videos and as I've stated before, please disregard the date and time stamp as both are still wrong. Hoping to get out there soon though and get that fixed :)

This first clip is of elk trotting into the pasture early this morning.

Here you can see them grazing their way across the pasture.
