Painting Jeep half doors

I have a set of Genright aluminum half doors that im wanting to install but i'm wondering if it's best to assemble and adjust the door then have them painted or have them painted then assemble and adjust? Seems to be pros and cons to both ways. What do you guys think?

Paint, let cure longer than you think, then assemble and adjust. I had my half doors painted after assembly and adjustment and the paint around the hinges looked like ass.

Definitely paint first, let cure and then assemble. It'll look the best that way.

Thanks guys, I'll definitely paint them first. I never liked that the factory hinges are painted over.
