Got the rack straightened. One upright has a slight bow, but it looks way better. Gonna fix the small cracks and gusset it when it cools down today.

Got two of the gussets in. Not really happy how the welds turned out, but that’s my fault for being lazy. I didn’t have any more grinding disks or flap disks so I prepped what I could with a cutoff. I’ll get the proper stuff tomorrow I guess.

After a bunch a horrible welds, come to find out I have a break in my group cable 🤦‍♀️ Glad I found it and got some of them cleaned up better. Oh well. What’s done is done. I’ll clean them up with a grinder and get it ready for paint.

Putting the trailer under the knife again. Switching out the suspension, to what they call the HD 2000lbs. Turns out it’s just there 3500lbs suspension. Hopefully it’ll perform better and hold up to off road use.
got the old cut out. Gonna clean it up to weld in the new. I do have to say the new suspension is super beefy in comparison.

So which model timbren did you replace? I've been worried about mine ever since you had your issue, mine is the one tonne HD set. The pivot bolt in mine does look big like your replacement set

ETA: congratulations on getting it repaired

Nice job on getting it replaced! Looks good 👍

Thanks! It’s nice having it back together!

I got the 2000HD and looking at their breakdowns, it’s really the 3500 lbs setup being sold as a lighter Weight. Everything is bigger between the two. Spindles are 1 3/8 where the standard 2000lbs were 1 1/8.
