My 65 Gladiator

i have not posted in ages. here are a few pics of what i did to the gladiator in the last year or so:

after a lot of magic smoke came out from under the dash ( lucky my son caught this disaster just in time and ripped the battery terminal off and stopped the cable fire) we decided to rewire the Gladiator.

then we fitted a set of 35" tires he got from a farmer (i know the tires are old, they will be replaced soon)

the poor drum brakes did not work very well with 35" tires and we are currently upgrading to discs all round

Awesome truck! The right hand drive manual trans would take some getting used to, but I like it.

i have been bussy on the front axle. not easy to get everything to line up properly but i think i have got it.
never mind the white paint, i painted all the brackets white to make marking of holes easier

The Brake upgrade is done. the disc brakes all round work very well.

this upgrade was not without challenges.
i had to relocate the clutch linkages and the throttle linkage because the brake booster was in the way.

here i noticed that the old clutch linkage was worn out completely.
thus the upgrade to decent greasable rod ends
