TIN CAMP - This is the Last One...

Things are greening up in the pasture and this time around, a herd of elk came through the pasture. Here's a shot of a good size group just lounging around from this morning.

And, here you can see them prancing around.

Here's a video clip of them.

And, here's one of them taking a long draw from the pond.
You’ve got a ton of good eating food on your joint…

There isn't anything really special for non-residents but Nevada does have a lottery system that every hunter has to apply for. More details about it can be found here:

Looks a lot like what Arizona had/has.

Have rifle, will travel! 😂🤣

Just looked it up and damn, I think that’s what it is 👍🏻
I've never seen it in person but seen some nasty pictures when it really spreads. Supposedly it's a non-issue unless it's near their eyes and affects vision. Not supposed to affect the meat. Just a cosmetic thing.

Of all the elk and deer that have been coming and going through our pasture, this pair (I'm pretty sure they're the same two) has decided to make it their home. They're literally out there day and night lately.

Ahhhh, nothing like a butt scritches or should I say, being able to bite an itch away.

It really is hard to believe just how big elk can get. When I first saw this one walk in front of the cam, I though it was a horse LOL
