2024 NEW YEAR's KICK OFF RUN

So, wish we could have made it. just one more week and we would have. looks like everyone had a fun safe weekend.

Thanks so much Eddie and Cindy for organizing this and shepherding those of us that were out of our element through the tough stuff!!!!!! It was great to meet everyone and you all were super helpful when I had questions or needed assistance :) Moochie thanks for picking up my recover strap when it fell out of my jeep. That was the first time it had been out of the recover gear box :) This was a big learning curve for me!!! I tell people that my jeep isn't the adventure it is just to get me too the adventure :) Getting to experience copper canyon was a blast!!! That first big waterfall if I was not with you all would have had me saying "oh hell no!!!!!" Having the group, Cindy as my lead, and Eddie giving me encouragement as I fumbled my way through the trickier stuff were all super helpful!!! I feel much more capable and knowledgeable about my jeep and its abilities. When I felt a little over my head I kept telling myself - "Eddie did this in Pippy, Eddie did this in Pippy :)" Getting to see you all do the hard stuff in person was awesome!!!! Thanks all for a great day of wheeling!!!! Gonna post one pic here and then provide a link to all the pics and videos we took. I live by a saying - passion breeds passion. This picture emulates that to a tee. Eddie in his element doing the thing he loves :) Pure awesome!!!! If there is anything in the album I am posting that you want to download feel free as you can do that.

This was the most “Family” WAL run I’ve been on. Wives, kids dogs… Wife Driving for 9 hours (Sharon....you are awesome!) Teresa and I really enjoyed the Family Vibe. 🤘🏽
TrailHunter,
Sharon appreciated your comment. It was her first rock crawl run in her 392. A little nervous, but the group made her feel relaxed with constant support. We consider ourselves fortunate to be able to share a trail with a talented and friendly group of people that Eddie and Cindy put together.

So I usually squirrel away special treats until I can fully appreciate them. Thanks Cindy for making this the best part of my Monday :) Those cookies were AWESOME!!!!!! If some of you are asking, "Is he so greedy he would take two bags from Cindy?" The answer would be yes to the greedy part, but no to the two bags. My wife gave me hers :)IMG_5892.jpg
