VIDEO : DECKED OUT Jeep Gladiator Truck Bed Drawer Storage System Installation

Such a well-designed system.

I think so. We've had a few haters on YouTube who swear this thing is stupid and a waste of space but we've been really happy with everything about it. :yup:

Looking great. Nice video and very well explained.

Thank you :)

Sweet addition to your Gladiator. You guys have a great set-up, love everything you have done to it! Great video as always for the install of the Deck system.

Thank you, we appreciate it :)

Such a rebel using power tools! The deck looks to be very well built and a great addition. Also nice that it come in below the bed rails so you can still store stuff on top if needed.

LOL - I could totally see how someone could jack everything up with power tools but there was no way I was going to install all those bolts by hand LOL. Also, it is nice that the deck sits below the bed rails unlike a bed cover. It really does make it a LOT more useful.

Super awesome storage solution! Thanks for sharing the installation process :thumb:

Thank you, glad you found it to be informative :)

That’s a great setup and as usual very well done install video!

Awesome, thanks!

I really like this bed storage system...and the added benefit that your friends and neighbors can’t call on you to help them move...

:cheesy: Too true :D

Very nice! :thumb:

I hope the MFR considers something similar for the JLU. The only thing I see that’s comparable is an ARB but it’s at least as much as the system you just installed. May have to go the custom route.

Hope this gives you some ideas.

Seems like a great setup, especially since it’s weatherproof! Looks like very strong yet lightweight material as well. 🤙🏽

Being weatherproof was a HUGE plus for us and one we have tested out thoroughly. :yup:

Looks like a really nice storage solution! Great install video as always. Enjoy the East Coast!

Thank you :)

You forgot to try out the bottle opener!

That’s in the 2nd video...

:cheesy: We actually have used the bottle opener but forgot to film it. Will have to do that soon :)

With all the parts you have delivered to you has UPS and FED EX assigned drivers specifically to your orders?

This came in by a different freight company so I'd never seen the guy before. When stuff comes in by OD, I typically get the same guy. UPS and Fedex tend to be the same guys too but I don't think they're assigned to me per se. Just live in a small town.

I really dig this system the moment I saw it at NYC car show back in April

It really is cool.

Yep, getting Decked is the way to go.

I think so anyway. We're very happy with it.

Great video. How did the boxes work out on your trip?

The drawers worked out great! The tool boxes that go inside are nice but my tools made them a bit too heavy to get in and out of with ease. I'm gonna have to rethink them.

Question in regards to the Decked out system

Just got a JTR and wanted to order the Evo bed rack and the Decked out system and was wondering if it's possible to secure the spare (40 inch) on to of the Decked system.

Yes. It's ultimately what we plan on doing once we get a RTT.

We are going to need pictures of this

I’m sure there’s several solutions but Decked does offer a tie down rail accessory that is rated to 500lbs I believe.

Eddie - Do you think there is room, perhaps in one of the cubbies on either side by the gate, or maybe toward the front of the decked system by the wheel well, to mount an ARB compressor. I'm basically talking about dead space under the decked system that wouldn't interfere with the drawers.

Without question, you could mount an ARB compressor in one of the ammo cans. You could probably even install a twin, there is that much room in them. If you don't think you'll need to ever access it, there is even room up in front of the wheel wells, close to the cab of the truck.

Awesome! Thank you. I'm thinking that might be a cool way to go with an extension and a quick disconnect somewhere. Actually, in the ammo can there would be no need for to run an extension somewhere. Hmmm.

I saw this video first on YouTube last year, now that it's popped up here I can ask a question.

Ediie, since you've had the DECKED for awhile now, do you find yourself catching on the exposed bolt ends in the various places they are?
I just wondered if acorn nuts on top of the nyla-nuts would be any benefit.

I could be wrong, but I don’t think the bolts protrude through the lid into the drawer space. I’m pretty sure they hold the lid to the interior frame pieces.
