Well, now that the cat's out of the bag, I thought it would be fun to post up some Day 1 pics of our new to us, 1993 Jeep YJ Wrangler in a Navajo Turquoise Metallic. As you can see, it came complete with a soft top, half doors, a 2" lift, 31x10.50 BFG AT's mounted on chrome wheels and maybe most importantly, a fuel injected 4.0L High Output engine. Anyway, here she is!

Can't believe the super thin factory gas tank skidplate is completely smooth - NO dents what so ever.

And finally, a look under the hood.

Beautiful Jeep. In great condition too. Do you mind sharing how far you had to travel to get it?

Thanks! I was willing to drive as far as Vegas or Boise to buy something like this (about 8 hours) but as luck would have it, I found this gem in Reno which is only about 20 minutes away. :yup:

Again, I’m blown away how clean that is. Great find.

I’m glad it found it’s way into your hands to protect that little piece of Jeep history verse find its way to a kid’s that would’ve destroyed it.

Thank you. I won't lie, I've been looking for a while now but most people want way too much for what they've got. The BEST buys that I've found have always been from recently divorced women or from 80 year old men who cared for what they had. This came from the later.

My scrambler came out of Arizona from an older guy. It was practically rust free when I got it. Unfortunately Michigan ruined that... but she’s all fixed now!

Here are a few shots of what this YJ looked like after cleaning it up, removing the soft top and installing a safari top.

Yup, that's the way to do it. Buy west of the Rockies and if at all possible, from an old guy :yup:

I know a lot of people think this YJ is the same color as Jane, our 1974 CJ-5 but in reality, it really is a turquoise or should I say, more of a greenish blue. You can kind of see the difference here but you can really see it in person.

So much happiness in the last two pictures
Love it [emoji7]

Oh yes indeed

I love it!

Thanks! :)

Really clean! If you got that out of your Stimulus check, you got a killer deal!

Any mod plans?

Had to kick in the same amount out of my pocket but I think it was still a killer deal. I've seen plenty of lesser Jeeps sell for $10k or more.

That looks fantastic Eddie and Cindy, congrats

Thank you :)

That looks killer! Great score! [emoji1303]

Thanks! Really happy with it :)
