Okay I was able to use this yesterday to air up after wheeling. I mounted the air line QD in the same location that’s in the video. It works great, super convenient. I’m also surprised by how well the ARB CKMA12 compressor works on 37” Nitto Trail Grapplers from 15psi to 28psi. It was surprisingly fast. For the price this combo can’t be beat.

LOL - awesome! I literally have guys who troll me on YouTube who try and suggest that it would take forever to air up tires with this compressor. They simply cannot believe me when I tell them how fast it really is. So glad to hear you've found it to be just as fast :thumb:
 
I've run both the single and the twin, and honestly the single isn't much far behind the twin. It's a good, solid compressor.
 
This compressor is one of the first additions I made to my Jeep and it works really well. It takes my 37x13.5s from 14 to 30psi in about 3.5 minutes each... About a minute longer than it took to air up my 35x12.5s. At the end of a day on the trail, 15 minutes isn't gonna kill you. [emoji23]

I was thinking about going to a twin, but now, after using it on the 37s, I feel like the only thing I'd upgrade to would be a Viair setup with a holding tank. Reconfiguring for a twin doesn't seem like it would be worth the trouble.

It took no time at all. It I were to estimate I’d guess 2 - 2.5 minutes or so per tire. I wasn’t keeping track. I just brought up the tire pressure display on the instrument cluster and stopped when it was at my desired psi (my pressure gauge broke). It was surprisingly accurate. It was fast enough that I couldn’t finish other things like getting the kids cleaned up, putting all their toys and snacks away, and doing an inspection of the under carriage before hitting the road. I certainly can’t justify spending double the money on the ARB twin compressor.

That's what I've seen. For all the hype over the twin, I swear I get done airing up about the same time as guys who have one. I've been running this compressor for years on all my other Jeeps and they're still pumping along too :yup:

LOL - too funny and I can totally see it. Like you, I just use the TPMS on the EVIC and it's awesome. :yup:

I don’t know if this was asked on the first page, but have you seen any issue with the quick disconnect getting grit locked or caked with debris in that location? Im debating where to place mine.

I haven't seen it be a problem but I have since relocated the quick disconnect to being on top of the bumper and facing to the side. I know others have used the ARB cover to keep dirt out too.
 
Hey, question, (i dont have my JL yet) so is there no longer space on top of the motor to fit the single like we could with the JK? Thats what I ran on my last Jeep with the 3.6. Did they add a bunch of stuff to the engine compartment?

Yeah, can't really use the same setup that the JK's had back in the day.
