Hey Everyone -

First of all: Happy New Year!
Just arrived into Jeeps from several years spent riding spiders (BMW Z3 and Porsche).
My Jeep is a '10 JK Sport (black/manual/2.8 CRD)
Unfortunately, italian laws do not allow modification to the vehicle :doh: . So i can only lift it if 0,75" and fit it with handle bars and i can only drool over your wonderful creatures

Don't worry, most of us would drool over your CRD.. Sure wish they would pull the trigger for the American models already!! Good luck, have fun and welcome!

Welcome! I've been here a couple of months and I've found people are friendly and knowledgeable. I'm mexican and laws here are not nearly as specific as that, so many times it is left to the police officer to decide what is or isn't 'appropiate' (if not 'legal')...

I just came back from Europe (stayed a few days in Italy) and I was surprised at the number of Jeeps I saw in comparison to my earlier trips... Guess Fiat is really happy with the Chrysler acquisition. And like my northern neighbors, we also wish the Diesels would be sold here.

Anyway, I am happy that our american friends have this forum open to anyone...

Gasoline (in Italy) is Usd/liter 1,90
Diesel (in Italy) is Usd/liter 1,70
That's why more Diesel than Gasoline engine sold :banghead:
