Wave from Hawaii

Just a wave from Hawaii. Stationed here for 3 years and then back to the mainland, hopefully back to PNW. I'm a newbie to Jeep. I've been a baby playing in mud puddles and am ready to do what the big kids are doing.

I have a 2015 JK Sahara
BB with 35" Mastercraft

Welcome to the Wayalife family! I'll be on Oahu on the 8th, Jeep will be there in about a month. We should hit up Peacock Flats sometime. Are you at JBPH?
 
Welcome From AZ! I was stationed in Pearl not too long ago. Theres some great sights you have to experience while youre there. Definitely check out the Shrimp trucks on north (east) shore at the very least.

If youre into paintball, Island paintball at Bellows airforce base, its a family run business on a retired runway, theyve got the best refs, and i worked with them for two years.

After that, you have to hit Dixies bar and grille in pearl city, theyre long islands come in a 32oz mug! The wings are great too, that i remember.

The Waikiki bar crawls are always epic, just make sure you got a ride back, gate guards have it out for two things, drunks and drunks on bikes.

Thanks for the info. The shrimp trucks are on my to do list. I've already been to Dixies but I was on a liquid only diet that night...well I ate some popcorn.

I actually saw your build thread and was wondering if your rig had made it here. Do the research for recon, it was a pain in the ass.
I am at JBPHH, on the Sub side. I'm up for wheeling whenever, I travel a lot so it's hit and miss. Just let me know when you're planning to head out.
