Hey everyone!
Been silently reading on a bunch of forums for the past several years and decided it was time to participate a bit more. Wayalife seems like a great place to do so.
Wife, 1 year old son, golden retriever, and myself live in Denver, CO as of a month ago. I'm a freelance stoftware engineer and my wife is a nurse. Used to own a TJ with half doors and a soft top that was an absolute blast. Bought it for $2600, put a little love into it via good deals on Craigslist, and sold it two years later for about a $3500 profit. Proved to me that no matter how many issues people have with Jeeps (poor gas mileage, etc) no one can argue they hold their value extremely well. Broke my heart to sell her, so when the opportunity opened up to get another one, we splurged for a 2014 JKUR in Granite Crystal. She's beautiful. I've started doing considerably more work to her than the TJ, so I'll start a build thread soon.
If anyone lives near Denver and is up for teaching a newbie the ropes of off-roading, hit me up! And what's up with no one in Denver giving me the wave?! Are there just too many of us?
