Wave from Deep East TX

Caught the Bug
Hi Everyone here's a big wave from the deep woods of East TX. Nacogodoches (silent g) I'm completely new to the Jeep scene and just bought my first Jeep last December. It's by far my favorite vehicle I have ever owned! I went on a jeep trip with some friends last year and had so much fun I knew I would end up with a Jeep. As luck would have it I had to sell my Ford Platinum company truck to finance 2 4x4 work trucks for WY, which left me without a vehicle. It must have been fate. I searched all over for a 6-speed manual Rubicon that was CRUSH, and found it in Lafayette, LA. I have been tinkering ever since and loving it!!

I de-virginized myself and the Jeep this Sept 22-30 with an awesome Jeep trip running some of the trails in Colorado. We spent 8 days camping in the mountains! We wheeled in rain, sleet, snow, fog, and finally by the middle of the week, SUN!

We ran the below trails:

Scofield Pass (Devil's Punch Bowl)
Pearl Pass
Taylor Pass
Italian Creek (Upper Reno Divide)
Hancock Pass

These are only a few of the pics. The others are too large to upload so I will have to shrink them and upload them later. I will put up an album for the 2012 Jeep trip.

Welcome! :standing wave:

Love the pic with the snow just barely covering the dirt! And those fall colors are amazing.
