Want to add 35s but keep JLU nonRubi suspension stock

I am new to the whole Jeep life. I have been doing research and things are mixed about putting 35s on a stock JLU nonRubicon Wrangler. I saw videos from a dealership putting 35s on a stock JLU sport w/out lift, but they swapped the fender flares with a Rubicon. I am thinking of doing the same but with the Rough Country high clearance fender flares. Should I go aftermarket fender flares route, the Rubicon fender swapped, or keep it stock and trim the fenders and take out the inside fenders? I am only going to do light to moderate off road. When I move back to Cali, I plan to hit the Oceano dunes in which I will do a 2 inch lift with either the RC, Mopar, Rancho, or Bilstein lift kits when I have the money. Right now, I would like to put 17x9 rims and 35s. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Everything RC makes is garbage and you will be buying a second set shortly after… I’d run some Rubicon flares and separate the lower half with a rugged ridge kit and call it a day. Money well spent and you won’t get screwed buying garbage.

If you don’t want to mess with the fenders, you can do a fairly budget friendly 2.5” lift with shock extensions to get you running 35’s comfortably. We just installed an EVO 2.5” Element lift (with shock extensions) on a JL Sahara, 35’s and KMC wheels. Drives really nice and no clearance issues.

EDIT: just realized you want to keep
The suspension stock lol

Finally, I got 35s on my Willys with stock suspension on Pro Comp 97 series wheels 17 in. 4.25 be safe and -18 offset. However, I later changed the wheels to a 17x10 with -24 offset. I added 2.5 spacer lift kit to it. C08DDAF5-F314-4E13-A0CF-D617ABD9AB9E.jpeg

I later went that route. It looks so much better with the 2.5 inch lift.
