Used spare or new spare?

When I got ties last June, I could only get 4 tires. I want a spare to match the 33" Falken Wildpeaks I have. Should I look for a used tire with about the same amount of miles or just get a new full spare. I have the old spare on which is a 31" so in a pinch it will work but I do want a full spare.

I guess first question is, what do you use the vehicle for? If it is used a fair bit for wheeling, buy a new one and put it into the rotation. If this vehicle hardly ever sees dirt, buy a used one.
My experience has been that getting a flat tire on pavement is quite rare and you are close to places to get it fixed properly. Tire damage when wheeling is not a matter of if, but when, and fixing the tire is not always possible (sometimes even destroyed by a gash). So you are then in a pinch and would be buying a new tire anyways.
