Traveling?

So in March i am going to be going down to Daytona for bike week and I’ll be driving my TJ towing my bike (2007 Honda CBR 600rr)with a small single open trailer.. my question is has anyone ever really traveled far with these things and how do they handle it and how are they on gas? I’ve noticed around town i get maybe 15 mpg but i could be wrong.. any help is appreciated! IMG_0476.jpg

It's not a Willy's, so unless you geared it with 4.88's on 31" tires (don't ask) you will be fine for driving, however it depends on what type of trailer you are towing how bad that aspect will be with winds and crosswinds.
