Trans American Trail 4x4 June? 2022

Very early stages of a planned trip of Sam C's Original TAT starting in WV and ending at the border of Wisc. Following the red TAT route on the map below. Will edit route to see more of America's Natural beauties. Grand Canyon, Badlands, Moab, that are close enough.


3 Weeks? Need to get a hold of Sam's maps/charts and gps tracks to determine the exact route we will take and how long we will need, along with sleeping accommodations.
5-6 days camping/1-2 days Motels Week (chance to take a hot shower, maybe laundry)
Can meet anywhere along the trial. Of course you can join us or leave us at anytime.
Or be a host close enough to the trail for replenishing the mind and water etc.

Other ideas
Film documentary
Clean up not only after ourselves, but organize a clean a trail program along the way.
Organize a drive a mile marathon to donate to conservationism

The wife and I will be leaving from the metro Detroit area in our 17 JKU Rubicon Recon. Trailhead looks to be almost a 12 hour ride for us.

Please review the rules about posting in regards to other forums or Facebook. Why not just make it a Wayalife trip and post about it here? Sounds like a fun trip.

I apologize for that, I sincerely didn't realize this fell within that. I was thinking it had to do with posting direct links, as in your signature, and not telling anyone that wanted to repost on any other site others are on, that may be interested, that was fine with me. Or am I missing something here. Or is it specially just mentioning f/?%book? Which I can understand considering who we're talking about and why I would not be caught on. I ask because I'd like to be clear on all the rules of course.

It could well end up using wayalife as the main jumping point for the trip. I guess it depends on the amount of interest compared to other forums it's posted on. If we can get just one from each, that could be upwards of 15 or so. I'm sure it will require every avenue possible to pull it off and call it a success.
