Trail Jeeps is an old-fashioned service oriented company! Great experience today!

I had a great visit to Trail Jeeps in Golden, CO this morning. I have been needing to get my EVO C-gussets welded on and since Trail Jeeps are the local (well two hours away for me) EVO guys I figured I'd take my JK to them to have it done.

I talked to Wes on the phone last week who assured me that my job wasn't too little for them and that they'd be happy to do it for me. I had worried it might not be worth their time since they do so many big JK suspension jobs and conversions but he assured me that that was not the case.

So I drove the two hours from Pueblo this morning to drop it off so they could work on it tomorrow. The shop is super easy to find and what should I see parked outside the front door but a nice blue JK that I've been looking at pictures of on the 2014 JKX thread. (Actually there were a bunch of built JKs in the parking lot. Like a candy store!)

Anyway I walk in the front door and Wes happens to be standing right there and somehow addresses me by name. I wasn't wearing a name tag. I checked. Well we got chatting about my future plans for my Jk and he asks me if I've seen the EVO Enforcer in person (which I hadn't). Just so happens they had a JK up on a lift with one so he took me back in the shop to see it.

Now THAT's a shop! Four or five nice Jeeps up on lifts and Wes walked me over to the one with the Enforcer on it and then showed me all the various parts actually installed. Man, King 2.5s are big!

Needless to say I had to scoot out of there before I told him to just toss an Enforcer on my JK while they were welding on the C-gussets.

Wes also took me outside to have a look at the Trail Jeeps Jeep. Showed me the battle scars from the JKX and we had a nice talk about the contrasts between last year's JKX and this year's. He also made the point that they had driven their JK the entire 4000 mile round trip. It was nice to be able to actually get a hands-on look at so much EVO stuff that I've only been able to see in pics and vids. :wings:

Just a great all-around experience and reminded me of how customer service used to be. Wes made it seem as though my tiny little job for them was just as important as all the big installs they were doing without making it seem like he was just kissing up. Straightforward and refreshing. They will have all my future work for sure. Well worth the drive up!

Thanks, Wes and Trail Jeeps! :thumb:

I've had awesome experiences with Wes and Trail Jeeps as well, I can't say enough about the personal care they have taken when installing parts on my Jeep. Having them install my gussets is next on my list!

Thanks for the pics! I wanted to snap a bunch in the shop but thought that might be a little weird.
