TPMS rubber or metal on aftermarket wheels?

I have googled and searched here but can't find the answer.

2015 JKU rubicon. I have Procal but I want to run the TPMS.

Keeping stock wheels and trail tires with TPMS for events.

Switching to Method or ATX NON-headlock wheels for daily driving. Will either TP stem work? Rubber pull through or the bolt on style. Does it matter?

Dealer is the best bet to make sure you have the proper frequency. The 5 I purchased at the dealer were the rubber pull through type.

Rubber stems. Less chance to get broken off. Also less chance of a stuck valve cap or core. The aluminum screw on type tend to corrode over time and cause problems. Most tire shops now have programmable sensor that have the rubber stems and work for a variety of vehicles because they can be programmed for whatever frequency.
