I won't lie, while I really enjoyed the original Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back films that were made a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, I've never been too thrilled about any of the other sequels or prequels. Having said that, this short "Empire-focused" short film created as a classic 1980's Japanese anime is really pretty amazing. Apparently, it took 4 years to create and for those of you who can appreciate it, I think you'll enjoy every minute of it. Check it out...

 
Very cool. Actually reminded me of a cross between Speed Racer and Heavy Metal (but without the nudity).

We recently started watching Star Wars again and love it! Amazing how much symbolism and themes you miss as a kid. It's been fun watching the original series again. I had never seen the most recent three, but actually enjoyed them too (not as much as the first three though). I can't wait for the new one to come out. Hopefully it doesn't disappoint like all other sequels/prequels/se-prequels?

I think we may be pleasantly surprised with JJ Abrams SW movie this Christmas! I'm remaining hopeful!! 👍🙏
