Interesting that a .38 special +P was being used in a semi-automatic - that's typically a revolver round - just interesting that they would choose that round. There are very few .38 spl semi-auto pistols out there.
LOL!! I think the .38 Special was an attempt at nostalgia being that it was what LA cops used to use. Of course, being that the guys who made the film are from France, it could very well be they just didn't know any better
