TACTICAL WELDER - Could this be the Ultimate Portable Welder?

I really like the idea, but wow is that price a show stopper.

The Premier power welder can be had for cheaper if you send them your alternator, and even cheaper if you don’t need/want the 110 plug. Compared to the ready welder, the premier might be the cheaper option, especially if you end up purchasing and carrying the 2 additional batteries to make the ready welder work. The plus side of the premier is you don’t have a limit on how long you can weld. I ended up going with the Premier after looking over the costs of both. Hopefully it works well

Yes, it’s a stick welder. Haven’t used it yet, but after I pick up my Jeep this coming month and get a minute I’ll post up some pics of what it can do.

#1 on my list when funds are available.

I used an older welder on Fordyce last year that required two batteries to be removed from vehicles to work. It sucks when you loose all your radio settings. Self contained is the way to go.

Honestly, that is what it costs and I just wanted to see what some of you thought about this portable welder and it's steep cost. Would it be something that you could justify? Or, maybe something a club could invest in? What say you?

For 6 grand I’ll bring a backup Jeep.
