Hey everyone,

Staying in Glendale AZ for some spring training, wheeling, and thinking of maybe moving this way in a few years. Never been to AZ and wanted to get out here from Chicago to check it out. Here's some pics from first trail I've done. Not positive yet where I'm gonna go today. 20180302_155722.jpg20180302_160143.jpg20180302_160647.jpg20180302_160703.jpg20180302_162521.jpg20180302_164031.jpg20180302_165234.jpg20180302_165600.jpg20180302_170936.jpg20180302_171027.jpg20180302_175423.jpg20180302_175423.jpg

Table Mesa has a lot of great trails. Ranging from all sorts of difficulty. I’m not sure how long you are staying, but one of my favorite trails in AZ is the back way to Crown King. It starts behind Lake Pleasant, and ascends to the town of Crown King. An old mining town that people still live in, complete with a saloon and a mill converted to a bar/restaurant. The trail is pretty simple with some optional obstacles on the way. It’s just a nice trail, then you can go down the normal, which takes you back to PHX via the I-17. Plan for a full day if you decide to make the trek.

East of Phoenix, there are a few trails. If you want something pretty easy, you can take the Apache trail to Roosevelt lake, passing Saguaro, Canyon and Apache lakes. At Canyon lake, they have an old paddle boat.

Sedona is nice, the pink jeeps get in the way from time to time but it’s nice up there with views and the trails can be fun.

I was in Sedona mountain biking today, it was crowded, go during the week, if you can, and it is much better. I was glad I didn't have my Jeep at broken arrow, there was a line at all the choke points, which is most of it.
