spot light covers

I was curious to know if anyone out there know whats the law in the states for light covers, where planing to drive down to myrtle beach in march and some one told me that some state require you to have covers on when driving and i dont know how the law works in the state if im plated ontario

so let me know
 
I read somewhere that most states allow up to 4 headlights, fog lights, or driving lights (with clear lens) total pointing forward. Any light(s) over that total of 4 must be covered (with an actual cover, not bagged or taped up).

It honestly depends where you are going and what the local law enforcement chooses to enforce. Cops in Las Vegas really don't harass people for this but if you drive to Henderson or Boulder City they will stop you in a heart beat. The best advice is to play it safe and cover em up for the trip. Just my :twocents:
