Solar tower of power

110 MW solar tower that uses mirrors to heat molten salt for energy. Cool stuff!


You can see it from the road so I took a side trip this morning to get a closer look.

Yeah. That one is smaller though right? Something like 5-10 MW?

Haven't seen that one, but the tower on this one is around 650 feet!

No. It's about 220 miles north of LV just outside of Tonopah, NV.

It's a very pretty drive with a lot of cool stuff on the way. I was in a hurry to get home having been gone for so long that I didn't stop in as many places as I would have liked.
