Small thump sound when turning sharp

Yesterday as I was pulling into a parking lot I heard a thump. I tried turning the wheel sharp when parked and have my buddy try to locate the sound, but we were unable to find it. Nothing seems to be making contact at full lock, so I have no idea where its coming from. It kind of sounds like it's coming from under the middle of the Jeep rather than the front. The sound is very annoying noticable and happens pretty much every time I turn the wheel at full lock. Does anyone have any ideas on what it can be?

Does it do it when you turn both directions? Make sure something isn't rolling around under a seat

Mine did something similar. One of the track bar bolts was not tight enough. It was moving in the mount and popping each time. Yours may be completely different, with lift, but maybe that helps.

It does it when it's parked as well so that can't be it, but thanks for the idea.

Mine did something similar. One of the track bolts was not tight enough. It was moving in the mount and popping each time.

I'll check those out. Hopefully that fixes it.

Check your ball joints for even the smallest amount of play. I replaced mine after hearing the thump when turning sharply. Good luck.

Not to sound like a smart ass but check your jeep for anything that could be rolling around. I've had that happen a few times lol

do you have a lock box under one of the seats? After I installed mine, I was hearing a clunking sound when I turned. I searched everywhere, then discovered it was the box drawer moving when I turned.
Edit: I just close a shoe string in the door(of the lock box) and the clunk goes away.
Edit:again: I see that it does it while parked. Disregard my nonsense post.
