Just read a cool article in our local news about how this year's "People's Tree" is from Nevada. Specifically, it's a 53-foot red fir named, “Silver Belle” and it was "harvested on October 24 from the Carson Ranger District near Sky Tavern and the Mt. Rose ski areas." This is especially noteworthy being that it's the first time that the tree has come from our humble state.
