I always wanted a Sig Sauer P228, but couldn’t afford one when I was in college. Sig fans will know, that they were discontinued and replaced by the P229.

I bought an Israeli law enforcement trade in, that was functionally fine, but looked pretty rough. My friend works part-time as a gunsmith, and his shop was looking for people to let them practice Cerakote treatment on their guns.

I think it came out nice. I added new grips, too.

Cerakote calls it Coyote Tan, but basically it’s flat dark earth. I started to go back with black, but I figured I’d mix it up.

I posted in another thread about the Honey Badger after I had just learned about it. Went the next day and bought it. Won’t have it until the stamp clears but the process was started.

It’s hard to imagine how compact and light it is until you see it in person and pick it up. Really excited about it!!

New edition to my collection

I just bought my New Beretta M9A3 G version (de-cocker only). It has three 17 round magazines, threaded barrel. It has all metal parts, no polymer. Has night sights on it and it shoots like a dream.

Very nice... I like the M&P line. This is my 9mm Performance Center Shield for Concealed Carry. I cerakoted the slide Burnt Bronze and added a Streamlight TLR-6 laser/light.
