Question on a 2013 rubi tcase

I purchased a 2013 rubi tcase from a salvage yard for $700. Had my brother pick it up for me and told him to verify the part number 52123503AA. It checked out, so he picked it up. When I picked it up from him I noticed it had "4.0 NO DAMP" as the gear ratio. Anyone have any info on this?

Some of the older transfer cases came with a large dampener attached to the back of it. I wouldn't worry about it.
