Pet Peeves - What Pisses You Off?

That's actually a lot of aftermarket wheels. Try using a standard socket instead of one made for an impact and if needed, a 12 point one as they tend to have thinner walls.
he KMC tank wheels are super nice and easy with the impact socket. But I’ll try the standard next time.

when I have plans to work on one thing and my OCD kicks in and I start doing something that is not a priority.

Pulled out the tools to work on the coil overs, instead my OCD required that I investigate why I had wire bundled up above the passenger visor.
I have the CB on a 12-volt plug so no hardwired power required... 4 hours later on a non-priority to do... 🤬

Okay, here's one that I've been seeing more and more of and yeah, it kinda pisses me off - walking up to the 15 items or less check stand at a grocery store and then the one person in front of you is a fuckin Door Dash driver who's buying for half a dozen different people. Of course, each customer needs to be rung up and have their items bagged separately so that there is a receipt for each of them. In other words, what should only take a couple of minutes ends up taking 10 minutes or more and sometimes, a LOT MORE even if it's just for a few items!

I’m peeved with myself for being the dog chasing its ever elusive tail. With the off-road season about to get underway here in Vermont my JT needs a GMRS & a CB, a system to air up and down 35’s and rock rails/steps on a sub 1K budget. I’ve narrowed my preferences to numbers that rival US federal debt and I welcome suggestions from any of you good people in order to finally catch my tail 🤣

Baofeng handheld gmrs are good, you can get a set of 2 radios with all the goodies for less than $100 on Amazon

CB, they aren't very much these days - Cobra 75, $150

I used a VIAIR for many years before getting the ARB, not the fastest but got the job done (they get hot, but they all do) - this will be one of your largest expenses, a good one costs around $400

rock rails/steps... budget buster, pick really good lines lol

Even a smittybilt or the similar Chinese brands for $180 to get by… lasted me for years.

Thanks for the solid advice, I’m going to buy both!
